Our Story
Daniel and Cheary are the excited new owners of the Wagon Wheel Cottages & RV Park in Mackay, Idaho. Formerly known as Wagon Wheel Motel, they feel this special place has a unique set up that "motel" doesn't quite fit. The word does not do it justice with all the different amenities this lovely property has to offer.
Dan and Cheary have been drawn to the Idaho mountains since their wedding in 2006. Daniel grew up coming to the mountains to hunt and hike and search for hot springs along the way. He shared that love of the mountains with Cheary and their 4 busy, rambunctious kids.

We are not new to hard work as we have both had multiple jobs at one time throughout our marriage, all while owning and running businesses. Our motto has always been: "Live like no one else now, so you can live like no one else later" by Dave Ramsey.
We are now able to pursue our dreams of owning a place of our own in the mountains and sharing it with others.
Our Space
We are excited to share the mountains with our kids and our guests. Wagon Wheel Cottages & RV Park provides the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and enjoy time with friends and family.
We hope you will love the welcoming atmosphere like we have since coming to Mackay.
